Arup created the lighting design for the , where and started with considering the benefits of converted industrial offices and why they are so popular. This led to us developing tailored, bespoke solutions for the lighting in the building in order to marry the best functionality with aesthetic forms that blend with the architecture. The luminaires employed were chosen to reflect and contribute to the identity of the building, and to combine with all of the other materials, shapes and textures that are present. We repurposed luminaire forms associated with industrial, maritime and tunnel lighting, for their functional appearance, and adapted them to suit our environment. Photography Tim Soar
